After discussions in Congress, a site visit to the Rotaryville Family Townhomes in FTI, Taguig City and initial groundworking during Congressman Rodolfo G. Valencia’s birthday last December 23, 2007, HFHP and the House of Representatives is scheduled to do a site visit of the proposed pilot project in Laohan, Mindoro Oriental on the last week of January.

In spite of the inclement weather, the grace of God was with the Bicol Express Build. The event was set to bring hope to the people of Bicol and He wasn’t going to let anything get in the way of it. The Manila volunteers left the convergence venue at around 7.30am and reached Villa Escudero early enough to take a surprise side-trip to the hacienda museum. Habitat’s guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks to help them cool down from a warm day.
