Philadelphia Water Department employees lend a helping hand to families affected by recent typhoons in the Philippines
Posted January 26, 2010

Led by their Manager for Materials Engineering, Mr. Edgar Navera, employees of Philadelphia Water Department, responded to HFHP’s call for assistance by donating at least of USD1,170 to help co-sponsor the construction of one housing unit in BayaniJuan sa Calauan in Laguna. The community serves as relocation site for families who used to live along Pasig River and its tributaries. Many houses of these families were washed away when Ondoy hit the National Capital Region.

The group also donated three boxes of clothes which HFHP will be distributing among families in Benguet, who were affected by typhoon Parma.
