Feed the Hungry Inc. representative visits Habitat housing in Brgy. San Isidro, Jaro, Iloilo

Feed the Hungry Inc.’s Solita Wakefield took time to visit four families in Habitat housing in Brgy. San Isidro, Jaro, Iloilo City. FtH helped co-sponsor the construction of four housing units in said province. The housing project is in response of HFHP, City Government of Iloilo and the Social Welfare and Development Department, to families who were rendered homeless by typhoon Frank which hit Iloilo in 2008.
FTH is a Filipino-American association based in Washington, D.C., whose mission is to “uplift the spirit and well-being of the poorest of the poor; the abuse and the desolate through gift-giving, livelihoond, nutritional and educational programs, classroom and housing projects, natural disaster relief and medical assistance.” Since 1993, FtH has assisted over 947,000 program beneficiaries in 72 provinces in the Philippines and in Metro Manila.
