HFHP DISASTER RESPONSE UPDATE: More Home Repair Kits and Food for Work packages for typhoon victims

· FOOD FOR WORK DISTRIBUTION
In partnership with The Charitable Foundation Australia (TCF), thru HFH Australia, Food for Work items have been distributed starting 19 January, among those families supporting HFHP’s response and recovery program through voluntary, humanitarian labour. Each food kit contains basic food items, such as: rice, canned sardines, canned meatloaf; instant noodles.
To date, a total of 836 food for work packages were distributed in Marikina (Brgy. Malanday, 365 and Brgy. Nangka, 241) and in Pasig (Brgy. Bambang, 115 and in Brgy. Kalawaan, 115)TCF is supporting the provision of 4,000 sets of Food for Work items. TCF also donated 555 home repair kits in Marikina.

· HOME REPAIR KITS DISTRIBUTION
HFHP continues to help families rebuild their homes through the distribution of Home Repair Kits in Marikina, Quezon City, Pasig, Bulacan, and Pangasinan, To date, a total of 2,255 Home Repair Kits. Last week, almost 500 kits were distributed in Meycauayan, Bulacan and in Gulod & Nagkakaisang Nayon, Quezon City.
