Habitat for Humanity Philippines recognizes the need for better and more resilient homes for families living in areas that are most vulnerable to natural calamities, and the need for communities to have a more proactive approach in preparing for disasters.
Our goal in responding to disasters is to build safer homes, help transform lives, and spur communities towards permanent recovery.
CORE SHELTER
We believe that building innovative and disaster-resilient homes in safer areas provides a platform upon which families and communities may rise up from the trauma of disaster, and move forward to improve their lives.
SHELTER REPAIR ASSISTANCE
We believe in the importance of an immediate intervention in the aftermath of disaster, which is why we provide building tools and materials, and trained carpenters to work alongside the families whose homes were only partially damaged.
